All our carers undergo a rigorous selection process, including thorough checks before employment and an enhanced criminal record disclosure (Disclosure and Barring Service, DBS, as it is commonly known now) before they can be assigned to look after you.

Green Leaf 24Hr Care Services aims to create access for all carers to complete all their mandatory training before being allocated to work. It is a requirement that all carers receive an induction programme before beginning work. The induction will mostly cover information on policies and procedures, health and safety, actions to take in the event of an emergency and various reporting requirements.
The induction will also cover information on the needs and legal rights of the people who receive care from the organisation. Annual mandatory training is also provided for continuous development of our members of staff. We use a number of national and local training companies as well as e-learning systems to deliver the training to ensure all staff are competent when delivering services.
